KATHMANDU, Nepal–Former Crown Prince Paras Shah faces a tough legal fight in Thailand, according to Bangkok based newspapers. Thai police nabbed Shah with methamphetamine and marijuana there on Wednesday.
Shah was also held with narcotic drugs in 2012 and early 2014 in the country, where former crown prince is 




residing for a couple of years.
Thai police on Monday held Shah with 5.8 gram methamphetamine and 9.7 gram marijuana. The message has been relayed to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Kathmandu.
Though the Shah family has sent a relative to Thailand to meet him and make efforts for his release.

The government of Nepal has made no official attempts with Thai authorities on the matter, though ex-king Gyanendra Shah has reportedly been sent as an envoy to meet Paras and make attempts for his release.
